The natural gas tariff for non-household (commercial) subscribers of "Tbilisi Energy" company was reduced by 11 tetris. The price of natural gas per cubic meter is 1.24 (one GEL and 24 GEL) instead of 1.35 GEL (one GEL and 35 GEL), including value added tax. "Tbilisi Energy" LLC is the capitals largest natural gas distribution licensee, which serves more than half a million subscribers, including up to 20,000 non-household (commercial) customers.
Here we would like to note that the price of natural gas for household consumers does not change and the rate per cubic meter is still 0.539708 GEL. "Tbilisi Energy" company imports natural gas and makes payments in US dollars. Taking into account the decrease in the price of gas to be purchased by suppliers and, at the same time, the strengthening of the national currency against the US dollar, the company made a decision to reduce the non-residential tariff.
